Amelia Island Adventures has been taking locals and visitors out since 2014. This business grew out of a love for nature, just a dream at first but then when another kayak business was being sold, they just knew it was a sign and jumped in that kayak!
I fell in love with kayaking when I moved to Florida so I can understand why they wanted to start this business and share everything Northeast Florida has to offer. With adventures going out daily (book early) you can see entire eco-systems that you can only see by water. Who knows what might be around the next corner.
Immersing themselves in the community the business has grown. Now they offer several other adventures to include a walking ghost tour, shark tooth hunt, horseback riding, boat tours, and nature tours. If you are looking for a fun, adventurous family outing then you found the one stop shop for all Amelia Island Adventures.
There are some new and exciting things coming up in 2021! One is a self guided tour app that will take you throughout Lofton Creek while highlighting some of the most interesting facts and eco-systems.
In talking to Kerri Foster, I found out about an adventure called the paddle & pint tour. In May they are sponsoring K9 for warriors and all proceeds from this paddle are going to help this incredible organization. You can’t beat that kayaking while giving back to the community.
There is just not enough I can say about Amelia Island Adventures; they are local, creative and provide endless opportunities to have FUN!
